WIDE FIT LOT 1 RINSE WASH

Jeans have evolved a lot over the past century, but there was once a time when they were simply a wide-fitting, robust piece of workwear. We cherish the utilitarian roots of the five-pocket jean and this is evident in our Wide Leg Jeans.

These jeans are a true wide fit with a full leg, high rise, and large leg opening. As a nod to early 20th century traditional waist overalls, we left the rear pocket rivets exposed and fitted a Japan-made two prong cinch to help them sit high on the waist. Just how they should.

This edition of our Wide Leg Jean is made from an organic 14.25oz red line selvedge woven in Okayama, Japan. 

We’ve teamed up with Britain's leading denim laundry for our AW22 collection to apply authentic and sustainable washes to a selection of our Japanese Selvedge workwear. Using a bleach and acid-free enzyme wash, our forward-thinking laundry neutralises the ph of all water used in the wash before recycling it, leading to a more environmentally friendly process that aligns with our morals here at Dawson. 

This pair of jeans made in our own workshop in Brighton is one of a limited number. With all the standard dawson details included, branded rivets, selvedge fly, felled seams, hand branded Horween leather patch or Vegan Organic Canvas printed patch as required and hemmed on our Union Special 43200G.
