Q : How do I pick the right size for me?
A : Our jeans fit true to size and are all Sanforized (pre-shrunk). However, there will be shrinkage in the leg length of 10/15mm on the first cold wash.
Q : Do you custom hem? If so how do I go about doing this?
A : Yes it’s no problem for us to hem your jeans to your specific length, although this is done at your own risk and cannot refund once altered. We suggest for you to either wash them before we do this or we can add 1/2cms on to cover the shrinkage. It’s always best that you try your jeans on before we cut the length to size to make sure the waist size is right first. Once you’ve done this turn one leg up to the length you want it and pop it back in the box returning them to us with the type of turn up you want.
Q : How do I prevent crotch blow outs?
A : This is a common problem, it’s a combination of regular wear and starch cracking. When denim is woven the ropes are dipped in a starch to make them strong enough to go through the weaving process. To avoid the starch cracking at stress points you can give your new jeans a cold water soak before you wear them or regular cold washing can help. Failing that we do offer a free repair service so just send them back and we’ll repair them for you.
Q : How should I wash my jeans?
A : So this is a contensious problem, if your goal is to achieve extremes fades then you should wash your jeans as little as possible. However this can be a little antisocial so we always say wash them when you need to. Pick a sunny day and pop them in a bath inside-out and with a small amount of detergent, we want to be kind on the environment after all. If you need to use a machine then select a hand wash gentle cycle without a spin to avoid marbling.
Q : I’m a women can I wear any of the mens styles?
A : Absolutely! Check the size guides and pick your best suited fit.
Q : Can you do a bespoke custom styling?
A : Our production is just too full to offer any bespoke styling or waist sizes.
Q : Will it shrink?
A : All our denim is sanforized which means the denim has been pre-shrunk, the leg lengths will shrink around 1/2cms on the first wash but the waist will return to it’s original measurements.
Q: When will i receive my order and how do you send?
A : Each item is made by us by hand in our workshop on the South Coast of Great Britain. All our goods are made in limited batches, we aim to send out every order within a week from purchase. We use Royal Mail tracked services in the UK this normally takes around 2-3 days, international destinations are usually around 7-10 days. Shipping costs do not include individual counties duty and tax.
Q : Do you ship internationally?
A : Yes we use Royal Mail international tracked, the cost of which is added at the checkout once you’ve added your address. Duty and tax will be sent by your own customs dept when the order arrives in the specific country.
Q : Will I need to pay duty and tax on my order if I am in Europe?
A : For countries in the EU, post-Brexit rules now apply from 1st January 2021, goods over £139 will incur VAT and Customs charges please check your local Government website for details.
Q: I need to exchange my jeans for another size. What should I do?
A : You can either buy the right size from our website and we’ll refund your returned jeans or you can return your jeans with the document enclosed with a note of which size replacement you require. If the size is out of stock we can offer you a credit note to the value of your jeans.
Q: I want to return my jeans for a refund. What should I do?
A: Providing your item wasn't custom made or customised and the item is in the original condition all you should do is fill out the return form that was shipped along with your package when returning the item back to us. As soon as we receive your unworn product we'll issue a refund to your original payment source, minus the cost of shipping. We would aim to process this within 14 days upon receipt.
Q: I bought something in the sale can I return it?
A: If you’re worried about measurements drop us a line and we’ll give you more details before your purchase, we don’t offer refunds on items that are discounted or marked down.
Q: How do your gift vouchers work?
A: We will issue you a JPEG or PDF to print at home with a code to be used in store or online to the value of your purchase. We also send out a physical card by post. Gift cards are non-refundable.
Q: I want a refund on a custom made style what should I do?
A : Our team will guide you through all the details to ensure your custom made style will be as you imagine. However we cannot give guarantees, if we have agreed to make you something completely customised then we cannot at any point accept a return or offer you a refund. Customised and worn goods are non-refundable.
