Returns, Exchanges and Repairs.

Quality is paramount to us, each item is made by hand in our workshop in Brighton. Whilst we do everything we can to ensure that each item is carefully checked we are human and we are aware that rarely things can go wrong. When they do we are here to help so please make sure your first step is to get in touch with us.

We’re aware refunds and exchanges can be very confusing so we will do our best to make this as simple as possible. We are always here to help please email us sales@dawsondenim.com and we will do our best to support you.

Can I cancel my order?

Providing your Dawson Denim item is unworn, undamaged and returned with all it’s original packaging you can cancel your order up to 14 days after it’s been delivered. You do not need to give a reason for cancelling. We understand that you may need some time to return your goods so we will give you 14 days to get them back to you. We will not cover the costs of postage in this case.

We are happy to offer to replace the item or offer you a credit note.

How much will it cost for a repair?

If you discover your item is faulty or it has been damaged we will repair it for you for free, we only ask you cover the cost of postage.

We may ask you for proof of purchase.

When will you be unable to refund?

We wouldn’t be able too refund you if knew an item was faulty when you made the purchase.

Or it is damaged because you tried to repair it yourself or got someone else to do it.

If your order has been custom made or customised in any way including hemming.

If you no longer want an item (for example because it’s the wrong size or colour), however we can discuss exchanging them for an alternative or offer you a credit note.

For reduced price goods and under the Distanced Selling Regulations we will be happy to offer you a credit note or exchange for goods to the same value, minus any cost of shipping.

How long will the refund take?

Refunds will be issued within 14 days of the return of the goods to the original payment method. 

Only if the goods are deemed faulty will we cover the price of postage. We will contact you by email to confirm when it’s completed.

Custom hemming

We offer free hemming on any Dawson product, sewn on our 1957 Union Special 43200G chain stitch hemmer. Once your item has been customised we cannot accept any requests for refunds unless for the reasons mentioned above.

How do I return my order?

Please mark clearly on the parcel “RETURNED GOODS”.
