Dawson Denim | British Jeans and Workwear from Japanese Selvedge Denim

The Dawson Type i Trucker is produced in this period correct white line selvedge denim a repro of a 1940’s denim. No flap and the addition of our classic workwear cuff. The cinch on the back is a diamond to mirror our wide leg jeans.

Made in strictly limited numbers in our workshop in Brighton and Hove on traditional mid-century induction sewing machines.

How we make

At Dawson Denim quality is paramount. We believe the devil is in the detail, which starts with the fabric. We use Japanese selvedge denim, woven and dyed in Okayama, Japan. We have personally sourced a selection of mills specifically for their rare qualities.

Experience

Amazing brand! Discovered these guys about 2 years ago. I’m a complete denim head and thought I had it sewn up (pardon the pun) with my suppliers at the time, but these guys are something else. Everything is hand made in their shop, and the detail and quality of product is insane. If you are serious about your denim you have to check these guys out.
