MERCANTILE APRON : DD07 HICKORY STRIPE WITH LEATHER

The Mercantile is inspired by the aprons worn by both men and women in Grocery and Dry Goods stores up until the 1950’s to protect clothing during the working day. This style has a 2 way pocket.

The apron measures:

31” wide
39” length

This apron made to order which usually takes around a week.

Its details include metal buckles, saddlery leather. Dawson branded die set buttons, unbranded copper rivets. Hemmed on our 1959 union special 42300g. All our aprons are numbered.

The Fabric :

12 oz indigo dyed hickory stripe made in Japan.

Wash care :

We recommend that you wash as least often as possible if you would like to maintain the colour of the Dry Denim. This fabric is likely to shrink by 5% on it’s first wash so make sure you wash in cold water separately to reduce the shrinkage as much as possible, add a little salt in with the water to stabilize the indigo.

Log book :

Each of our aprons is sold with a log book which entitles the owner a free repair during the first 6 months. This does not affect your statutory rights.
