SUMMER 2021

We may not always get the scorching summer we want here in England, but that hasn’t stopped us bolstering our roster with our new summer capsule. This collection is made up of beautifully textured lightweight fabrics and laid back silhouettes, perfect for warm weather adventures wherever you are in the world.

Our womenswear collection continues to grow and this capsule features 3 new pieces. First up, we’ve got the Kasuri Summer Jacket, a loose fitting piece based on traditional Buddhist Monk workwear jackets and made from an indigo-dyed Kasuri woven for us in Japan. Charmingly slouchy and stuffed with texture, this is something you can throw on and off on those days where the sun can’t make up its mind.

It wouldn’t be summer without some bold checks, so we went ahead and updated our Sport Shirt with short sleeve variation made up in a breathable 8 oz. Japanese indigo check fabric. Featuring an open collar and wide sleeves for ultimate smart-casual vibes, this piece is finished with indigo catseye buttons and a singular chest pocket.

We’ve also launched a short-sleeve rendition of the men’s Sport Shirt in our DD025 white Kasuri fabric. Splashed with intricately woven strikes of indigo, this is an undeniable mid-century classic that can be dressed up or down.

Last, but not least, the Peg Trouser you know and love is back but it’s been updated with our 10 oz. neppy indigo selvedge fabric from Nihon Menpu mills. Available in boths men's and women's sizes, this cut is based on a post-war tailored trouser and features a roomy top block and strong taper towards the hem. Pair these with sandals or sneakers and let the neppy fabric pop in the sun.

Each of these garments is lovingly made in our Hove workshop and will ship in time for summer.
