LOT 23 10OZ HOODIE

When surfing gripped California in the late sixties, it created a subculture underpinned by freedom and expression. Days spent at the beach catching waves or simply admiring the wonder of the ocean required a laid back yet robust approach to fashion which saw workwear and athletic garb take center stage for off-board surfers and beach bums .

Taking inspiration from this mid-century phenomena, we created our 10 oz. Hoodie and Jogger for AW23. Crafted from a Japanese 10 oz. indigo twill, the Dawson Hoodie, comes in a relaxed, short, boxy fit ideal for wearing as an outer-layer, with uncuffed sleeves adding to the laid-back silhouette. The roomy kangaroo pocket is reinforced with bar-tacks and divided by a brass RiRi zipper, whilst rope-ties anchor the fit at the hem and neckline. Tie the ropes up at the hem for a more cropped look, or leave them loose for a longer hem, the choice is yours. 

Made from 85% cotton and 15% hemp this indigo denim twill is sustainable and has a soft handle from the get go. Available in limited numbers, each Hoodie is made at the Dawson Garage and comes finished with a canvas Dawson label, stone construction thread, and internally welted seams
