An undeniable classic in both menswear and womenswear, the Pleat Trouser has a unique silhouette with a roomy pleated top block and a robust taper towards the ankle.
This is a limited batch of Pleat Trousers made in our 10 oz. indigo-dyed sashiko cotton fabric. Woven for us by Japan’s esteemed Nihon Menpu Mills, this fabric has a heavily textured surface that will fade with wear, revealing more character and brighter tones of indigo as the years go by.
We’ve teamed up with Britain's leading denim laundry to apply authentic and sustainable washes to a selection of our Japanese Selvedge workwear. Using a bleach and acid-free enzyme wash, our forward-thinking laundry neutralises the ph of all water used in the wash before recycling it, leading to a more environmentally friendly process that aligns with our morals here at Dawson.
